I started Audience Is Me as a trial with Ghost, then on a stupid whim decided to transition the site to a static site generator – Quartz, with Obsidian, GitHub, and Cloudflare/Netlify.
Way, way too many moving parts that kept breaking.
The toilet clogged.
I am not a developer or coder and I use GitHub as a visitor, not a professional. I spent nearly four days futzing with it and finally called it: 1 p.m., Friday. DOA.
Back to Ghost, but this time I'm trying Ghost via Magic Pages, mostly for additional themes and better support. Let's see how it goes.
